Hi, I’m Maia - mom, baker, digital artist, and founder of BakerCrate.
When my oldest son turned one, I made his birthday cake from scratch. I stayed up late frosting it, wanting it to feel special - even though he was too little to remember it.
Then I made one for a friend.
Then another.
Somewhere along the way, I realized something: cake has a way of turning ordinary moments into something meaningful.
That feeling became BakerCrate.
I’ve always loved the fun of a full celebration cake - the kind that puts a smile on everyone's face when they see it. But not every moment calls for something big.
That’s why BakerCrate includes both.
